T.I.’s New Reality Show Premiering Tonight
You already know. I'm in there like swimwear!
Rap star Clifford "T.I." Harris' "Road to Redemption: 45 Days to Go" will air tonight (February 10) taking viewers into the rapper's personal life as he aims to guide others to avoid the mistakes he's made.
The premiere episode will reveal Tip's thoughts and feelings upon losing his close friend and manager Philant Johnson along with being incarcerated on felony weapons possesion in 2007.
"This is really one of the first times that I've publicly opened up about the entire situation, telling the whole story," Tip says in the show's debut. "No amount of jail time is going to teach me the lesson that I learned in that moment...I'd always try to do the right thing...That grief, that pain, that anger mixed with the paranoia of knowing that the people who [killed Phil] had never been caught, that train of thought is what got me in that parking lot, October 13, 2007...Once you're incarcerated by the federal government, you're gonna be able to tell the difference, it ain't no city cops." (Episode One Press Screening)
Tonight's show will also feature troubled Atlanta teenager Pee Wee as Tip attempts to give him eye-opening experiences.
In the premiere, T.I. hangs out with an 18-year-old named Pee Wee, who he seeks to shake up by locking him in a cell and later making him view a dead body. As for a legitimate career, Pee Wee says he'd like to act and later is given an opportunity to informally perform Romeo and Juliet. (Variety)
Throughout his interactions with Pee Wee, Tip reminds him of learning from mistakes the hard way.
"We're gonna shake his world up a little bit and we're gonna help him, whether he wants our help or not" Tip tells the camera referring to Pee Wee. "I'll make a deal with ya, [Pee Wee]. I'll take some of your advice if you take some of mine...You ever been to jail before? It took me going to jail so many different times, seeinig that I was wrong, learning from my mistakes, trial and error, rather than having someone tell me 'You're making a mistake,' and learning from that." (Episode One Press Screening)
Despite being a month away from having to serve a year and a day prison bid, the rapper is reportedly proud of his latest television project.
"Right now, there's nothing else you can say about my charges or my circumstance that hasn't already been said, so to keep wasting time on that, it's not worthy and is not significant," Harris told the Daily News. "Impacting the lives of at-risk youths in America and inspiring change? That is. People remember you for the last thing you did. If the last thing that I do isn't negative, you won't have a negative perception of my life." (New York Daily News)
"T.I.'s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go" is scheduled to premiere Tuesday, February 10 at 9 p.m. EST on MTV. (Compiled by Sohh.com)

Breaking News: Conan O’Brien to take over Jay Leno’s 10 pm show in 2010
Just weeks after Jay Leno announced that it would be staying at NBC and starting a nightly 10 pm show, a visibly annoyed Leno took part in another news conference late this afternoon with NBC Entertainment chiefs
Ben Silverman and Marc Graboff.
"Jay has agreed that in 2010, Conan O'Brien will be taking over 'The Jay Leno Show' which premieres this fall on NBC," said Silverman. "Jay has graciously agreed to turn over the show to Conan in 2010. We love Jay Leno. He's an important part of the NBC family."
"I write jokes, that's what I do. You know, I don't have an agent or a manager. I just write jokes," said Leno.
Leno was able to convince the NBC bosses that the show keep its original name. When O'Brien takes over in 2010, it will be called "The Jay Leno Show with Conan O'Brien."
***UPDATE***
Sources now say NBC executives fear they have made a serious mistake by giving O'Brien "The Jay Leno Show" and are trying to convince Leno to stay with the network after he turns over the program to O'Brien in 2010. Executives are discussing the possibility of having Leno stay at NBC by having Jay replace Billy Bush on "Access Hollywood."

Jimmy Fallon has created world’s funniest webisode
Jimmy Fallon has broken new comedy ground. His first ever webisode is going super viral. His webisode has overshadowed the news that Jay Leno is getting a primetime show.
Fallon is getting ready for his new late night gig as soon-to-be-host of NBC's "Late Night" and posted his first video blog. Fallon will be doing a live nightly 5-minute Web tidbit at 12:30 Eastern until his show premieres on NBC next year. His premiere webisode last night was one word: incredible. It was only 96 seconds long, but it was jam-packed with hilarious comedy. Why isn't Jimmy getting his own primetime show? Seriously. Jimmy and his writers have basically reinvented the comedy wheel.
"What's amazing about his new brand of comedy is that it's so subtle, but so damn hilarious," says Ben Silverman, co-chairman of NBC Entertainment.
Here are just a couple of lines from Fallon's webisode.
"Right now we're here at Studio 6 B, our new home. Take a look. Look at this place. We're so lucky to get it because local NBC News is moving out."
"And that's where the internet comes in. That's where you come in...send me a video. Send me an e-mail."
Silverman is so right. His humor is subtle but incredibly funny. We can't wait for tonight's second webisode.

The 5 New Angelina Jolie Tattoos
Angelina Jolie showed off her new tattoos over the weekend at the premiere of her new movie "Changeling." The tattoos appear on her left arm and Dateline Hollywood was able to use digital technology to cleary see her 5 new tattoos. From our analysis, it appears to be a To Do List on her arm and it's a suprising list. We're not sure why she would share this personal information with the world. We're still trying to figure that out. In the meantime, here are her five new tattoos after being digitally enhanced.
1. "Adopt a third world highway"
You can cross that one off the list. Our sources say the paperwork has already been filed for Jolie to adopt a one-lane highway in the African nation of Uganda. It's that kind of generosity that makes Jolie such a beloved figure.
2. "Screw Jennifer Aniston's next boyfriend"
While Angelina is happily married with a continuously growing family, she shows no mercy for Jennifer Aniston. Part of her To Do List is to have sex with the next person Aniston is involved with. Rumors say she has gotten to all of Aniston's boyfriends who all end up leaving Aniston. The latest casualty was singer John Mayer.
3. "Restraining order against Vince Vaughn"
Sometimes they don't go away. Jolie is learning this lesson the hard way.
4. "TiVo C-SPAN and C-SPAN II"
Angelina wants to become more political. What better way than to watch the House and Senate. We understand she has purchased 238 TiVos to record one week's worth of C-SPAN and C-SPAN II coverage.
5. "Adopt Gary Coleman"
Gary Coleman has been in legal trouble over the years. This move by Angelina Jolie will keep the little guy out of trouble. We've just learned that Coleman is interested in being adopted and has requested that he be exclusively breast-fed.
