Juliette Lewis thinks women are to obsessed with phyiscal appearance

Juliette Lewis thinks women are too obsessed with their physical appearance.

The singer-and-actress believes too many ladies only have cosmetic to make themselves more desirable to men and believes women should concentrate on fulfilling their ambitions and making the most of their skills instead.

Juliette, 35, said: "I want girls to start thinking about what they have to say, what do they have to contribute to their families, to other people, to society?

"It's fine if you want to be desirable to your man, that's sweet. But when people are carving their skin and putting plastic or whatever into their chest, to be more desirable, against this facade of, 'Oh no, it's for me. It makes me feel good.' Well, really?"

The actress - who describes herself as a "man-loving feminist" - admits her belief that women should stand up for themselves comes from her childhood, when her parents went to great pains to ensure she realised she could be successful.

She said: "I have a natural, innate rebellion, a defiance that my parents allowed in me, and I only have it more so in my 30s."

Celebrity stock porftolios plunge 35% due to financial crisis

Hollywoodstock_2 With financial institutions continuing to fail on Wall Street, Hollywood has experienced what one economist called "The worst crisis ever for Hollywood star wealth."

According to statistics obtained exclusively by Dateline Hollywood, the average A-list Hollywood star stock portfolio has fallen 35% this week, with some stars losing as much as 72% of their wealth.

Amongst stars who have lost huge amounts of money:

- and saw their portfolio decline by 26%. Sources say that will force them to return at least one adopted child to its birth parents

-Kevin Federine's stocks plunged by 54%, bringing his total net worth down to $43.70

-'s investments plummeted by a whopping 72%, though financial experts cautioned that most of the drop was unrelated to the Wall Street crisis and had to do with his decision to put all his money in a company that specializes in magic beans.

"This is the most devastating news yet for the American economy," said Navid Pring, chief Hollywood star economist at Goldman Sachs. "If celebrities aren't buying new products, entire shopping guides in Us Weekly and on The Show could be cancelled. E!'s style experts will have no new Hollywood star clothing to mock. We'll be feeling the impact of this crisis for at least a year."

Jolie-Pitt Foundation donate over 1.1. million to build Clinic

They're the parents of six and have busy careers, yet and have still found time to help others by establishing a medical centre in Ethiopia.

Following in the footsteps of the Maddox Chivan Children's Centre in Cambodia - which the couple named after their seven-year-old son, who was born in the country - the new centre will provide help for children affected by tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS in the African country.

The Jolie-Pitt Foundation donated just over £1.1 million to the Global Health Committee to build the clinic.

And once again, the couple are honouring the birthplace of one of their children. Ethiopia is the home country of their three-year-old daughter Zahara, after whom the branch will also be named.

"It is our hope when Zahara is older, she will take responsibility of the clinic and continue its mission," said Burn After Reading actor Brad in a statement.

Keith Urban: I’m just Mr. Mom during the day

While some plumphers may feel daunted at the thought of looking after their little bouncing baby alone, New Zealander says he relishes the times when hands control of daughter Sunday Rose to him.

"When my 's working and I've got time off, I'm just Mr Mom during the day taking care of the little girl," the 40-year-old musician proudly revealed to US music show CMT Insider.

Keith looked after his two-month-old bouncing baby girl while Nicole was lensing the epic film Australia with Hugh Jackman.

Like many parents, Keith is having to balance his family life with his work commitments. Next year, though, things will be different for the Urban-Kidman family - they will all join him on tour.

"It's good to have them out on the road… so we're not apart very much," he said.
