TYLER PERRY TO FILM ‘WHY DID I GET MARRIED’ SEQUEL

'Why Did I Get Married?', the big screen adaptation of Perry's stage play about the trials of marriage, is considered to be Tyler Perry's best work to date is one of the many reasons why Perry plans to do a sequel tentatively titled 'Why Did I Get Married too?' The new movie would be a follow-up with hopes for the return of original cast members, which includes Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Tasha Smith, Sharon Leal, Malik Yoba, Richard T. Jones and Michael Jai White. Perry, who is still in the process of writing the film, revealed why he chose to do a sequel to the film stating that "Because there is so much I want to say. There's not another film that I have written that I felt like there's more to say; and there's more say in 'Why Did I Get Married Too.'" Perry further explained saying "It will be the same cast. Everybody... it's going to be great."

Clint Eastwood’s ‘dysfunctional’ love

Clint Eastwood loves his "dysfunctional family", despite having his seventh child at the age of 66.

The Oscar-winning director - who has seven children with four different women - has learned to accept his unusual private life.

Clint, who is married to journalist Dina Ruiz, said: "I love my dysfunctional family. Dina fell pregnant on our honeymoon. After a few weeks, she said she felt a little nausea.

"She asked me to stop at a gas station so she could buy one of those sticks. She came back and said, 'We're pregnant.' At least nobody stood there with a shotgun when we got married!"

Clint, now 78, also revealed he has no intention of retiring because he still has a huge amount of interest in the movie industry.

He added to Parade magazine: "I just ran into a guy a little younger than me. He says, 'I'm going to retire.' I say, 'Wait for me. Keep going.' Everybody in my generation, once you get in the seventh decade, they go, 'Well, what the hell. I'm on bonus time!' But no, I would never want to give it up. Never would."

George Clooney’s stripper love

George Clooney loves being propositioned by male blonde strippers, claims Brad Pitt.

Brad, who became close friends with the legendary womaniser after the pair starred in several movies together, insists George has a soft spot for hunky Chippendales dancers.

When TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres asked Brad how to woo George, Brad replied: "Get a bunch of Chippendales. He's yours. Three, four - no less than three. Make one a blonde."

Earlier in the show, Ellen revealed she has been trying to convince George to appear on her popular TV series since her studio moved next to the 'Burn After Reading' star's office.

She told Brad in the interview which is due to air today (04.12.08): "We've tried everything with our 'Catch Clooney' project. We've sent Victoria's Secret models over. We've sent Miss America over. We've sent Kate Hudson over. We've sent gifts. We decorated his bungalow for Halloween. I don't know what more we can do."

George, 47, has previously been romantically linked to a string of beautiful women including Renee Zellweger, Salma Hayek, Julia Roberts, Lucy Liu, Lisa Snowdon and Sarah Larson.

He has vowed never to get married or have children, following his divorce from actress Talia Balsam in 1993.

Hollywood to upgrade more celebrities to A-List status to meet demands of NBC talkshows

Latenighters With Jay Leno getting his own primetime show starting next fall on NBC and Conan O'Brien taking over "The Tonight Show," there will be a fierce battle for booking top notch Hollywood star guests on the same network talkshows.

"The bottom line is that there are not enough A-Listers out there to satisfy Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien, and not to mention David Letterman," says a SAG spokesperson. "I know the focus should be on the possible work stoppage, but this Leno deal is extremely important and we want to start the upgrades right away."

SAG is going through its records of B-List stars to see which ones can get an upgrade to appear on the Conan O'Brien show.

"Leno, of course, will get all the current A-Listers because it's a prime-time show," says the SAG spokesperson. "O'Brien will get the upgrades, the new A-Listers, which some people may or may not accept as true A-Listers. But that's all we can do at this point."

Already getting upgrades are Jack Osbourne, Jason "Wee-Man" Acuna ("Jackass"), Erik Estrada and David Faustino (Bud Bundy/"Married with Children.")

As for Jimmy Fallon who will be taking over the "Late Night" show on NBC, it will be slim pickings. NBC is telling Fallon he will have first dibs on rejected guests from The Bonnie Hunt Show.

J.K. Rowling writing new Harry Potter book

Rowling

We all thought it was over. But J.K. Rowling is bringing back the adventures of boy wizard Harry Potter which made her the world's wealthiest writer.

"The demand is still there. People want more Harry Potter," says Olsen Etasla of Publishing Monthly. "Imagine if they hadn't made 'Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.' What a shame that would have been. A lot of readers want to keep reading about Potter. They're all wondering what Potter is like as an adult."

*** SPOILER ALERT ***

Some details of the new plot have already leaked out. It turns out Rowling has been secretly writing the book.

When we last left off, Potter was married to Ginny Weasley with three children. In the new book, Rowling picks up on the story as Harry is going through a nasty divorce as he fights for custody of his kids James Sirius, Albus Severus, and Lily Luna. Harry discovers that Ginny wasn't as faithful as he thought. Using a magic spell, he gets Ginny to confess that she had extra-marital relations with Neville Longbottom who is now the Hogwarts Herbology professor. Ginny fights back and accuses Harry of emotional and physical abuse. She claims Harry has beaten her while drinking. Another part of the story will focus on Potter's son Albus and his first year at Hogwarts. Albus gets caught playing with his magic wand in the boy's room and is suspended.
