Celebrities sue politicians for taking away spotlight
A group of celebrities is suing Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin for taking a significant amount of attention away from them. Obama and Palin have been turning up on the covers of Hollywood star magazines such as People, OK! and The National Enquirer. The celebrities filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking an unspecified amount of money for the damage suffered over the last few weeks.

"I was caught with crystal meth, and no cover for me either," said Ryan O'Neal. "I mean, what do I have to do to get on the cover? Kill a tranny hooker? I don't know any trannies, but hypothetically, if I did, is that what I would have to do?"
"It's bad enough they get all of the attention on 'Meet the Press,' do they have take away our covers of OK magazine? I mean, just because Sarah Palin's daughter is pregnant and still a teenager and unmarried, doesn't mean she should get all of the attention," said Jamie Lynn Spears.

Lindsay Lohan returned to ‘Ugly Betty set’ for cameo episodes
Clad in a sexy orange cheerleader's uniform, Lindsay Lohan returned to the Ugly Betty set this week to continue filming her cameo episodes in the satirical style industry show. The starlet, who plays lead actress America Ferrera's former high school nemesis Kimmie, later swapped the ensemble for another racy school-girl style outfit of a pvc skirt and over-the-knee socks.
In the current storyline Lindsay is down on her luck and working in a fast-food outlet while the star of America's character has risen.
The rest of the Ugly Betty team have been full of praise for the Mean Girls actress. Ana Ortiz – Betty's sister in the popular series – said the 22-year-old actress quickly got into the improvisational style used by the cast, starting with a scene in which a food fight takes place.
"She throws a mean bagel," she joked. "It broke the ice really well!"

Lindsay Lohan wants to meet Michael Phelps
Lindsay Lohan apparently thinks swimmer Michael Phelps would be great company.
The actress, 22, was impressed by his record eight Olympic golds in Beijing.
And she is said to be keen to meet the 23-year-old.
‘They're both going to the MTV Video Music Awards next month so they'll be sure to see each other properly then,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.
Lindsay is rumoured to be in a relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson, 31.

Lindsay Lohan: Ali Did Not Get a Boob Job
You can talk about Lindsay Lohan, but don’t you dare talk about her sister, Ali.
The Mean Girls star opened up on her blog Thursday about reports her 14-year-old sister had a boob job.
Even the paparazzi have pressed the 22-year-old actress about the rumor. Lohan wrote that she was out with a friend, when a photographer yelled, “What do you have to say about people commenting on your sister’s implants?”
“It made me feel a bit sick to my stomach,” Lindsay wrote on her MySpace blog.
But the actress is no wilting flower. She responded, “Did you really just ask me that? She is a 14-year-old girl, and you are a pedophile!”
Although Lindsay said on her blog she wouldn’t judge someone who did have surgery, she explains, “its not something that my family finds necessary to do.” She added, “Especially when you’re not even fully developed yet!”
“But all in all my mother taught us to appreciate what we have been given,” she continued. “Nor would she ever encourage, or allow a 14-year-old child to alter her body.”
And, in a mood to share her thoughts, she closed the entry admitting that although she got some “great clothes” from Alexander Wang, she said, “I miss Samantha [Ronson] cuz she’s out of town. :(”

Lindsay Lohan And Sam Ronson Do Shopping And Lunch For Sam’s Birthday
Lindssay Lohan and her girl Sam Ronson celebrated Sam’s birthday yesterday with some lunch, shopping and even a little bit of car trouble.
The two lovebirds did a little shopping in Beverly Hills and then headed over for lunch at E.Baldi Restaurant. When leaving the car kept stalling for about 15 minutes before they were finally able to get things back on track and take off.

Michael Lohan Says He Won’t Walk Lindsay Down The Aisle If She Marries Sam
Lindsay Lohan’s dad Michael Lohan says if his daughter marries her lesbian lady friend Sam Ronson he will not be walking her down the aisle due to his Christian faith. I highly doubt she would invite him anyways, he’s too much of a publicity whore…
Lohan and Ronson have refused to confirm or deny rumors they are in a romantic relationship, but reports suggest the couple is now planning to exchange vows in a commitment ceremony.
However, Michael, a born-again Christian, is convinced the Mean Girls star won’t invite him to be a part of the event.
He tells MSNBC’s The Scoop:
”I haven’t heard anything (about an upcoming wedding) from Lindsay, but if she was marrying Sam, I don’t think she’d ask me to walk her down the aisle.
“She knows about my (Christian) faith… She just wouldn’t ask.”
But Michael insists he isn’t against his daughter settling down with Ronson - as long as Lindsay is happy. He adds:
“I want her to be happy and healthy and stay on the right path. If I discuss (her relationship), I say that I want her to be happy.”
Legislation to ban gay marriage in California was overturned in May.
