Peter Andre has revealed he often doesn’t know Jordan’s had a boob jobs until after the procedure.
But the singer defended his wife’s decision not to tell him by likening the action to buying a handbag.
‘I am going to be straight,’ he says. ‘Do you ever consult your husband about the bag you’re going to buy or the clothes you’re going to wear?
'You know what girls are like and it’s understandable.’
Peter, 35, says he and Jordan, 30, real name Katie Price, have a solid relationship, despite recent rumours they're set to split.
‘My mum Thea and dad Savva have been married for 52 years and I’m going to prove to everyone that you can do it in a modern day relationship,’ he tells BBC Breakfast.
‘I love it, I think it is great, you know. The main thing for us is that we’ve got the backbone of loving each other and the backbone of having unbelievable children.’
In August, Jordan had a breast reduction – her fifth boob job – to give her 32C cups.

Katie Price: Stepped up security after burglars targeted new home
Jordan has stepped up security after burglars targeted her new house.
The glamour model returned from a break in Cyprus with husband Peter Andre, 35, to find thieves had tried to break in.
Now Jordan, 30, real name Katie Price, has employed a team who will mind the Surrey home round the clock.
'We've had to get guards,' she tells OK! 'Apparently there have been people in the bushes and all sorts.'

Katie Price aka Jordan: Launched her first line of rider clothering
Hot Katie Price launched her first line of rider clothing. Jordan mother-of-three looked great as she presented the range for horsewomen while flourish a twig and posing next to a horse.
The vivid fuchsia cover and a lot of accessories are just a small piece of the new KP Equestrian collection that the acute horsewoman and entrepreneur has designed for fellow horse-lovers.

It’s styleable and stylish but at the same time functional and wearable. And the horsewear is just fab. Your horse is going to look so cool!
Katie Price, 30, is a penetrating rider who keeps six horses in stables on her grounds, plays polo matches for charity and has recently taken up showjumping - coming the sixth out of 27 in a recent competition.

Jordan aka Katie Price: I’ll never have surgery on my face
Jordan has said that, despite her numerous cosmetic ops, she'll never get any work done on her face – because she doesn't want to look fake.
‘I am totally plastic and proud!’ she tells the Daily Mirror. ‘Everything about me is fake but I'll never get any plastic surgery on my face.
‘Although I've had my nose done, anything else from the neck up is just wrong. You see people in LA with these weird creases in their face – it doesn't look natural.’
Jordan, 30 – real name Katie Price – had her nose job just before Christmas.

Fans flock to catch a glimpse of Jordan aka Katie Price as she launches linen line
There was no doubting the enduring popularity of model, best-selling author and TV personality Katie Price - aka Jordan - when she launched her new range of bed linen in Milton Keynes.
Hundreds of fans queued outside the town's Matalan store for hours this week in anticipation of meeting the Brighton-born beauty and her children Junior, three, and one-year-old Princess Tiáamii. Once inside they got to chat to the glamour model as she signed autographs.
Her bedroom creations now launched, the 30-year-old, who's also mum to Harvey - her son by footie ace Dwight Yorke - is now free to turn her attention to her next project - a line of equestrian clothing.
