T.I.’s New Reality Show Premiering Tonight

You already know. I'm in there like swimwear!

Rap star Clifford "T.I." Harris' "Road to Redemption: 45 Days to Go" will air tonight (February 10) taking viewers into the rapper's personal life as he aims to guide others to avoid the mistakes he's made.

The premiere episode will reveal Tip's thoughts and feelings upon losing his close friend and manager Philant Johnson along with being incarcerated on felony weapons possesion in 2007.

"This is really one of the first times that I've publicly opened up about the entire situation, telling the whole story," Tip says in the show's debut. "No amount of jail time is going to teach me the lesson that I learned in that moment...I'd always try to do the right thing...That grief, that pain, that anger mixed with the paranoia of knowing that the people who [killed Phil] had never been caught, that train of thought is what got me in that parking lot, October 13, 2007...Once you're incarcerated by the federal government, you're gonna be able to tell the difference, it ain't no city cops." (Episode One Press Screening)

Tonight's show will also feature troubled Atlanta teenager Pee Wee as Tip attempts to give him eye-opening experiences.

In the premiere, T.I. hangs out with an 18-year-old named Pee Wee, who he seeks to shake up by locking him in a cell and later making him view a dead body. As for a legitimate career, Pee Wee says he'd like to act and later is given an opportunity to informally perform Romeo and Juliet. (Variety)

Throughout his interactions with Pee Wee, Tip reminds him of learning from mistakes the hard way.

"We're gonna shake his world up a little bit and we're gonna help him, whether he wants our help or not" Tip tells the camera referring to Pee Wee. "I'll make a deal with ya, [Pee Wee]. I'll take some of your advice if you take some of mine...You ever been to jail before? It took me going to jail so many different times, seeinig that I was wrong, learning from my mistakes, trial and error, rather than having someone tell me 'You're making a mistake,' and learning from that." (Episode One Press Screening)

Despite being a month away from having to serve a year and a day prison bid, the rapper is reportedly proud of his latest television project.

"Right now, there's nothing else you can say about my charges or my circumstance that hasn't already been said, so to keep wasting time on that, it's not worthy and is not significant," Harris told the Daily News. "Impacting the lives of at-risk youths in America and inspiring change? That is. People remember you for the last thing you did. If the last thing that I do isn't negative, you won't have a negative perception of my life." (New York Daily News)

"T.I.'s Road To Redemption: 45 Days To Go" is scheduled to premiere Tuesday, February 10 at 9 p.m. EST on MTV. (Compiled by Sohh.com)

Jim Jones "Owns" Max B

Someone just introduced me to Mr. Biggaveli, and I have to say that while some of his music disturbs me, he makes for great entertainment. His viral videos keep me laughing and you know Jimmy Jones is always good for a sound bite. Peep the latest about their 'alleged' beef...

After months of diss videos from former Byrd Gang affiliate Max B, Jim Jones has revealed details regarding their contractual business relationship. In a recent interview with radio personality Funkmaster Flex, the Harlem, New York-bred rapper debunked rumors claiming Max no longer has ties with him.

"He's signed to my label and I bought his publishing for roughly $90,000 which he cried over the phone to get out of jail for," Jones explained. "He sold his soul, the stupidest move I've ever heard anybody make in their entire life."
мебели
Admitting he's remained silent about the situation because there's no financial gain, Jones further compared Max's previous loyalty to other rappers who have been removed from popular rap groups.

"You know how Smurf tried to do to 50 [Cent] and then all of a sudden Smurf was gone," Jones compared. "What about J-Hood to The Lox --like these are the things I want to know."

The Byrd Gang leader also took a moment to clear rumors of Damon Dash being broke due to recent financial reports claiming he owes millions.

"He might be broke to Bill Gates, but to the average person he's filthy rich," he said. "He lives in one of those Tribeca big apartments and his apartment is bigger than my entire house, and my house is pretty big." (From Sohh.com)

Pamela Anderson’s Tommy romance

Pamela Anderson is planning a "romantic" New Year's Eve with her ex-husband Tommy Lee.

The former 'Baywatch' actress - who has two sons, Brandon, 12, and 10-year-old Dylan, with the Motley Crue rocker - is looking forward to the pair's intimate celebration on December 31.

Pamela, who posted a naked magazine cover shot of her and Tommy, wrote on her official blog: "We are spending new years together in Montreal. How romantic."

Pamela moved back in with Tommy earlier this year and, despite describing them as an "old married couple", she insisted they weren't having sex.

"So, yes, I'm homeless and living with my ex-husband. We're like an old married couple - we're living together but not having sex."

Pammie and Tommy married in February 1995 in a beachside ceremony, after only knowing each other for 96 hours.

The pair divorced in 1998, after Tommy was incarcerated and charged with spousal abuse. He was later sentenced to six months in jail.Since the divorce they have rekindled their relationship several times.

Season Over for Plaxico Burress

I have no words for this moron ::SMH::

Plaxico Burress reported to Giants Stadium to learn his season is over. The New York Giants placed Burress on the reserve/non-football injury list Tuesday, officially ending his season. The anticipated move came one day after Burress was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Manhattan nightclub the previous weekend.

The Giants fined Burress and suspended him for four games for conduct detrimental to the team for multiple and repeated violations of club rules. Should the defending Super Bowl champions make the playoffs, which is a mere formality given their 11-1 record, Burress will not be allowed to return to the Giants’ active list.

“As we have said since Saturday morning, our concern is for Plaxico’s health and well-being,” Giants president John Mara said. “This is an important time for him to take care of his body and heal up and also deal with the very serious legal consequences and other issues in his life.“When I spoke with Plaxico, he expressed great remorse for letting down his teammates.”

It marked the second suspension this season for Burress, who likely has played his final game in a Giants uniform.

One of the heroes of New York’s surprising victory in Super Bowl XLII, Burress posted $100,000 bail Monday after being charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon - a Glock semiautomatic pistol - and third-degree possession for carrying the ammunition clip.
Both are Class C felonies, for which Burress could be sentenced to a mandatory minimum of 3 1/2 years in jail if convicted.

Per league rules, Burress was required to report to work Tuesday to receive mandatory treatment on both the gunshot wound and the strained right hamstring that initially sidelined him for this past Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins.

The veteran wide receiver, who caught the winning pass in Super Bowl XLII, met with Mara, general manager Jerry Reese and head coach Tom Coughlin to learn of his plumpe. For more on the dubious incident that is sidelining Plaxico, read here. (From Yahoo Sports)

UK Cops Learn Gangsta Rap To Combat Crime

LOL boy do I love it! Is that really what's standing in between law enforcement and youth throughout the world---ebonics?!

UK police have been studying gangsta rap slang in hopes to quell a growing narcotics problem, specifically in the kingdom’s prisons. The decree was issued by concerned officials in the Ministry of Justice, as reports indicate that more than half of England and Wales’ prisoners are jailed on narcotic charges.

Previously, officers were not versed in Hip-Hop slang, and dealers were able to conduct transactions freely in front of the police simply by using the coded language. Unfortunately with many officials now first being exposed to Hip-Hop as strictly a criminal element, visiting Hip-Hop stars are now experiencing high scrutiny and suspicion.

Earlier this year Snoop Dogg successfully overturned a visa ban that prevented him from entering the country. The UK instituted the ban on the Long Beach, CA native on suspicion of his involvement in a brawl at London’s Heathrow Airport.

In September, Busta Rhymes was denied entry into the UK for a scheduled charity concert to honor community volunteers. Officials detained Busta for 11 hours on the grounds that his previous criminal convictions in the United States made him a security threat. The issue was eventually taken before a high court judge who ruled the detention was unlawful and had the rapper immediately released.

Just last week, R&B singer TQ was also denied entry into the UK.

Even with these high profile problems, the Ministry of Justice plans to continue their experiment and will look to local authorities to use the information and modify it as they see fit.

Reprinted below are the top gangsta rap “phrases” officers have been supplied with by the Ministry of Justice:

Strap - gun
Five 0 - police
Creps - sneakers
Bate - acting suspiciously
Shotter - drugs dealer
Garms - designer clothes
Burned - to receive bad quality drugs
Blanks - drugs of bad, or poor quality
Travel agent - street drug dealer
Champ - a drug user who will not reveal his source (From Allhiphop.com)

Dallas Teacher Caught Smoking Crack

Wow! This is like something straight out that movie "Half Nelson" with Ryan Gosling...

A teacher in the Dallas school district was incarcerated at about 2 a.m. today after police say he was smoking cocaine while cruising erratically in Oak Cliff.

Donald Keith Johnson, 47, a teacher at Molina High School, was charged with evading arrest and possession of cocaine, according to police. The school’s address is listed on Mr. Johnson’s driver’s license.

A police officer spotted Mr. Johnson, a Dallas resident, on West Laureland Road and attempted to pull him over because he was unable to maintain his lane, according to a Dallas police report.
According to the report, Mr. Johnson continued smoking cocaine from a crack pipe as officers pursued him.

The pursuit ended at the Houston Street Viaduct, where police had to put Mr. Johnson’s car in park because he refused to do so, according to the report. Officers used a Taser to subdue Mr. Johnson, who resisted arrest by punching and kicking, the report states. He was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Johnson was booked into Dallas County Jail around 8 a.m. and is being held in lieu of $3,000 bond. (From C+D/Dallasnews.com)
