Season Over for Plaxico Burress
I have no words for this moron ::SMH::
Plaxico Burress reported to Giants Stadium to learn his season is over. The New York Giants placed Burress on the reserve/non-football injury list Tuesday, officially ending his season. The anticipated move came one day after Burress was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Manhattan nightclub the previous weekend.
The Giants fined Burress and suspended him for four games for conduct detrimental to the team for multiple and repeated violations of club rules. Should the defending Super Bowl champions make the playoffs, which is a mere formality given their 11-1 record, Burress will not be allowed to return to the Giants’ active list.
“As we have said since Saturday morning, our concern is for Plaxico’s health and well-being,” Giants president John Mara said. “This is an important time for him to take care of his body and heal up and also deal with the very serious legal consequences and other issues in his life.“When I spoke with Plaxico, he expressed great remorse for letting down his teammates.”
It marked the second suspension this season for Burress, who likely has played his final game in a Giants uniform.
One of the heroes of New York’s surprising victory in Super Bowl XLII, Burress posted $100,000 bail Monday after being charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon - a Glock semiautomatic pistol - and third-degree possession for carrying the ammunition clip.
Both are Class C felonies, for which Burress could be sentenced to a mandatory minimum of 3 1/2 years in jail if convicted.
Per league rules, Burress was required to report to work Tuesday to receive mandatory treatment on both the gunshot wound and the strained right hamstring that initially sidelined him for this past Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins.
The veteran wide receiver, who caught the winning pass in Super Bowl XLII, met with Mara, general manager Jerry Reese and head coach Tom Coughlin to learn of his plumpe. For more on the dubious incident that is sidelining Plaxico, read here. (From Yahoo Sports)

"Swagger Like Us" The R&B Version?
Are you kidding me? I thought we were over this song already?! I mean seriously the original
I'm not trying to hate, but wasn't the reaction to T.I.'s "Swagger Like Us" mild at best? Well, it looks like the males of R&B [yeap, all 5 of them] are trying to come together to collect a phat check. Check it out below.
According to the number one homie, Low Key, over at BET.com is saying the following:
Word on the street, R&B’s top guns are gearing up for the “Swagger Like Us”:R&B Edition. Yup, you heard right, the R&B world wants to show off their swagger as well. Ok ladies, I know your itching to find out who plans to lay their swaggerific vocals over the Kanye production, so here it goes. SLU: The R&B Edition participants include; Chris Brown, Neyo, Usher, and T-Pain. WOW!
What do you we think about this? Is there enough star power involved to get the attention from the masses?
This can be a very big record, or a very big disaster.
Am I to assume that since Omarion, nor John Legend were mentioned that their own versions are going to be recorded. (From Sohh.com)

Mackenzie Phillips, Aaron Sorkin, Dennis Farina endorse new Drugs N Guns Airlines
Mackenzie Phillips' arrest today at Los Angeles Airport for trying to smuggle cocaine and heroin onto an airplane could turn out to be quite the lucrative gig!
Dateline Hollywood has learned that the One Day at a Time star has been recruited by fellow airport arrestees Aaron Sorkin and Dennis Farina to invest in and endorse a new venture called Drugs N Guns Airlines.
The air carrier has obtained a special waiver from the Federal Aviation Administration to let passengers carry any controlled narcotic or firearm on the plane. Drugs N Guns Airlines will be marketed primarily to current and former entertainment industry professionals and will fly exclusively between Los Angeles, New York, and Vancouver. Tickets will cost at least ,000 per flight and passengers have to sign an extensive release form before boarding.
"Those of us currently in or recently washed out from the entertainment industry have a unique need to snort or inject drugs and carry weapons with us wherever we go, especially on long cross-country plane rides," Phillips, Farina and Sorkin said in a joint statement. "Guns N Drugs Airlines has been specifically designed to fit the needs of people like us. Our motto is simple: 'Shoot and snort away. We're all celebs here.'"
