Moose Falls Out of the Sky
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a-- WTF?!
Police said a 500-pound moose fell 18 feet to its death when it apparently leaped a guardrail on an Interstate 95 overpass and landed on Hinckley Road. Officials learned of the incident when a motorist called the town office shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday and told assistant town clerk Shirley Bailey that "a moose just fell out of the sky."

Famed Singer Charlie Wilson Diagnosed with Cancer
I adore the 'Gap Band.' Songs like "Yearning for Your Love" and "Outstanding" get heavy rotation in my world. Every major R&B singer to date has bitten some nuance of this man's style----R. Kelly, Aaron Hall, etc. On top of Charlie's successes with the 'Gap Band', he's been able to reinvent in recent years himself working with artists like Snoop Dogg and Pharell. Let's hope for a speedy recovery!
With the release of his second solo album, 'Uncle Charlie,' less than two weeks away, famed R&B artist Charlie Wilson has announced that he is undergoing treatment for prostate cancer.The 'Yearning For Your Love' singer was diagnosed with the male-reproductive disease last fall and began therapy on Nov. 21. Wilson's sudden diagnosis has lead him to team up with the Prostate Cancer Foundation to help raise awareness and research funds for prostate cancer.
"When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September, I thought to myself 'I'm too young... this isn't a cancer I should be getting,'" Wilson said in a statement.
"While I was surprised to discover that this disease strikes one out of every six American men, I was astounded to learn that African American men are 1.6 times more likely than others to be diagnosed with prostate cancer. My wife, Mahin, and I are very fortunate. I was lucky to be diagnosed and begin treatment early. My prognosis is excellent."
And 'Outstanding' he is!The former Gap Band front man has already started utilizing his Hollywood star status to help inform more African American men of the illness. Men are 35 percent more likely to develop prostate cancer than women are to be diagnosed with breast cancer.
"I am excited to be working with the PCF. They are the cruising force behind many of the advances that have been made in prostate cancer treatment to date," says Wilson. "Their work has helped reduce the death rate by nearly 40 percent in the past few years. Together, I believe we can make an important impact."
The Grammy-nominated artist also noted that his wife's support has played a major in his recent campaign.
"We men don't want to consider or vocalize our vulnerabilities. It was my wife who kept after me to see my doctor for a screening," he revealed. "I thank God she did. Now I feel compelled to spread the word about prostate cancer."
This spring, Wilson will be taking his message on the road with him and overseas to U.S. troops in Iraq and Kuwait while touring in support of his forthcoming album. BART Officer Arrested
This is a step in the right direction...let's hope justice is finally served.
Former Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) officer Johannes Mehserle, who shot Oscar J. Grant III, appeared in the East Fork Justice Court on Wednesday in Minden, Nevada.
Mehserle waived extradition to California and was being held without bail on a warrant charging homicide. According to reports, Mehserle was in Nevada because he feared for his safety after death threats were made against him.
Grant’s family has filed a $25 million legal claim against BART, signaling an intention to sue for damages. The family’s attorney, John Burris, said that he was pleased to hear of Mehserle’s arrest:
“If it’s true, the family is delighted, and it will really help with the healing process,” Burris said. “This is also very important for the community. This had to occur; it was almost a no-brainer. I think the district attorney ought to be commended for moving (the case expeditiously.” (AP/Concreteloop.com)

FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS
Happy Birthday to R&B singer Aaliyah. A star in the R&B world before she was even out of her teens, who would have been just 30 years young today but Aaliyah's promising career was tragically cut short by her death in a plane crash at age 22. Even with only three albums under her belt, she'd already earned a place as a talented trendsetter among the R&B elite. 
Gone, but not forgotten.... Happy Birthday bouncing baby gyrl. You are truly missed. ~ Love E3 Gossip!

Pamela Anderson’s Stella Christmas
Pamela Anderson wants Stella McCartney for Christmas.
The former 'Baywatch' actress, who is an ardent animal rights campaigner, is full of admiration for the British designer's fur-free creations.
Pamela said: "All I want for Christmas is Stella McCartney. You feel very alive wearing her clothes and knowing nothing has been killed."
The 41-year-old blonde beauty has become firm friends with Stella and even stripped off naked in her London shop window as part of a PETA protest in 2006.
Pamela is no stranger to speaking out about the welfare of animals.
Earlier this year, she wrote to fast food chain KFC over the treatment of chickens on their suppliers' farms.
Pammie - who has been working with PETA against KFC for around three years - fumed: "My friends at PETA Europe and I have a bone to pick with KFC over the treatment of birds.
"Chickens are bred so quickly they can barely walk and stew in their own waste. This is Colonel Sanders' real 'secret recipe'. Many are still fully conscious when their necks are sliced open and some are even burned to death in the scalding tank."Pammie even stopped wearing her beloved UGG sheepskin boots after she realised they were made from animals.She said: "I'm getting rid of my UGGs. I feel so guilty for that craze being started around my 'Baywatch' days - I used to wear them with my red swimsuit to keep warm - never realising that they were SKIN!"I thought they were shaved kindly. People like to tell me all the time that I started that trend - yikes!"

Samantha Ronson’s PETA fury
Samantha Ronson has blasted animal rights group PETA for pelting her lady friend Lindsay Lohan with flour.
The DJ has branded the person who threw the flour at Lindsay - who arrived at the VIP Room Theater nightclub in Paris, France, wearing a fur stole on Saturday (15.11.08) - no better than an "animal".
Samantha - who has been dating 'Mean Girls' star Lindsay since early this year - wrote on her blog: "The girl who threw the flour acted like an animal herself. I take that back, it's an insult to animals to group her in with them, my dog is FAR more civilized than that person.
"It's a pity that some groups feel the need to assault people as opposed to fighting with words. Whenever I feel the need to vent about something that feels unfair to me I reach for my computer, I don't run out of the house with abusive intentions. I don't expect everyone to react the same way, but I do expect people to respect each other."
A representative for PETA - who included Lindsay on their Worst Dressed List earlier this year because of her frequent fur wearing - has defended the group's actions.
Spokesperson Robbie LeBlanc explained: "There is nothing remotely 'styleable' about the torture and death of animals killed for fur. Lindsay Lohan might be able to ignore images of bloody animals skinned alive for their pelts, but we hope a dash of flour will help her rise to the occasion and forsake fur once and for all."
