Peter Andre has revealed he often doesn’t know Jordan’s had a boob jobs until after the procedure.
But the singer defended his wife’s decision not to tell him by likening the action to buying a handbag.
‘I am going to be straight,’ he says. ‘Do you ever consult your husband about the bag you’re going to buy or the clothes you’re going to wear?
'You know what girls are like and it’s understandable.’
Peter, 35, says he and Jordan, 30, real name Katie Price, have a solid relationship, despite recent rumours they're set to split.
‘My mum Thea and dad Savva have been married for 52 years and I’m going to prove to everyone that you can do it in a modern day relationship,’ he tells BBC Breakfast.
‘I love it, I think it is great, you know. The main thing for us is that we’ve got the backbone of loving each other and the backbone of having unbelievable children.’
In August, Jordan had a breast reduction – her fifth boob job – to give her 32C cups.

Lindsay Lohan: Ali Did Not Get a Boob Job
You can talk about Lindsay Lohan, but don’t you dare talk about her sister, Ali.
The Mean Girls star opened up on her blog Thursday about reports her 14-year-old sister had a boob job.
Even the paparazzi have pressed the 22-year-old actress about the rumor. Lohan wrote that she was out with a friend, when a photographer yelled, “What do you have to say about people commenting on your sister’s implants?”
“It made me feel a bit sick to my stomach,” Lindsay wrote on her MySpace blog.
But the actress is no wilting flower. She responded, “Did you really just ask me that? She is a 14-year-old girl, and you are a pedophile!”
Although Lindsay said on her blog she wouldn’t judge someone who did have surgery, she explains, “its not something that my family finds necessary to do.” She added, “Especially when you’re not even fully developed yet!”
“But all in all my mother taught us to appreciate what we have been given,” she continued. “Nor would she ever encourage, or allow a 14-year-old child to alter her body.”
And, in a mood to share her thoughts, she closed the entry admitting that although she got some “great clothes” from Alexander Wang, she said, “I miss Samantha [Ronson] cuz she’s out of town. :(”
