Alec Baldwin blames controversial comments on identical twin brother Kip
Actor Alec Baldwin says controversial comments in a New Yorker magazine interview actually came from his little known identical twin brother Kip Baldwin. In the interview, Mr. Baldwin criticized NBC for not promoting "30 Rock" and claimed they were determined to "wring the last drops" out of other shows. He insisted "My Name Is Earl" and "Scrubs" were "done" and "cooked" and that 30 Rock should have been promoted more heavily instead.
"I have a twin brother who doesn't make many public appearances," said Alec Baldwin in an interview with Dateline Hollywood. "He looks just like me, and obviously he fooled the reporter at the New Yorker. I mean, why would I make comments like that? Why would I say things that make me look like a total ass face. It's my twin brother Kip. Oh, that Kip. He's the same twin brother who called my daughter Ireland a thoughtless little pig. Again, all that stuff was my identical twin brother Kip."
Baldwin even released side by side photos of himself and Kip Baldwin.
