Summer Thongs Gone Horribly Wrong
Summer brings back memories of walking along the board walk with the warm breeze of the ocean brushing against my face. Sandcastles, beautiful beaches and sun tanned beauties.
Then Joe Ugly has to go and screw it all up! I often find myself wondering...What in the hell were they thinking?
Come on! She's gotta know that doesn't look good!

Comic-Con 2009 line growing
Sci-fi, fantasy, anime and comic book fanatics who want to get front row seats for the hottest properties in 2009 had better head down to San Diego now.
As this line taken outside the San Diego Convention Center today shows, fans are already lining up by the thousands to get front row seats for the best panels and presentations at Comic-Con 2009, which will be held next July.
"I was outraged and appalled that I didn't get to ask ['Watchmen' director] Zach Snyder my very important question about the engineering schematics of Night Owl's ship 'Archie' in the film," said Jacob Helsen, who started the Comic-Con 2009 line on July 24, the second day of Comic-Con 2008. "I'm already formulating my questions for 2009 and am determined I will get to ask them."
San Diego city officials have decided to install port-a-pottys and support the line of 2,700 (and growing) people waiting for Comic-Con 2009 because of the year-round financial boost they are providing for local comic book, videogame, and toy stores, as well as the city's Taco Bell and Arby's franchises.

Mark McGrath in talks to replace Katie Couric on CBS Evening News
Hollywood was in complete shock when it discovered that Extra, the Hollywood star news program, was replacing host Mark McGrath with Mario Lopez. It turns out McGrath could be back on TV real soon. Sources say he is in serious negotiations with CBS News to replace struggling anchorwoman Katie Couric on the evening newscast. CBS News President Sean McManus reportedly wants a younger look for the broadcast and McGrath could bring in that younger audience. A CBS news producer told us:
"Mark has proved that he is great journalist with his fantastic work on Extra and his in-depth interviews with Danny Bonaduce and Dustin Diamond. We need that kind of quality journalistic skills on our newscast."
McManus would reportedly want McGrath, who is also the lead singer of the band Sugar Ray, to sing the lead story every night to the tune of the song "Every Morning."

Hulk Hogan working as Sean Connery impersonator
Hulk Hogan is severely hemorrhaging money as he's locked in a bitter divorce battle with his wife Linda. Sources say he has lost most of his assets by hiring a team of lawyers not only for his divorce case, but also for his son, Nick, who was jailed for eight months in May for several offenses relating to a car accident. Now Dateline Hollywood can reveal that Hogan is now working for a Hollywood star lookalike agency in Florida as a Sean Connery impersonator to help pay his mounting legal bills. He's been hired for parties and birthdays, but according to insiders, he's not very good. One insider tell us:

Pamela Anderson Was Approached To Be In The X-Files Before Gillian Anderson
Gillian Anderson says Pamela Anderson was approached to be in The X-Files as FBI investigator Agent Scully before her.
Anderson, 39, who is expecting a bouncing baby boy in October with her longterm boyfriend Mark Griffiths, admits bosses approached former Baywatch actress Pamela before they offered her the role. She said:
“Pamela was somebody who was more familiar to them in terms of what was on TV at the time. They were looking for someone bustier, taller, leggier than me. They couldn’t plumphom how David and me could equal success. At the beginning, nobody trusted that I could do anything. I had no body of work behind me at all, and certainly Fox felt very strongly that I wasn’t the right person for the job.”
